Aeronautical bands, unlike all other bands are standard world wide. Aircraft transmissions are of two kinds.

Civilian & Military.

Civilian aircraft use two bands, HF using SSB for long distances & VHF, for distances of several hundred miles. All communications Civil and Military are in AM

A list of frequencies used by Civil & Military airports is listed under Airfields and believed to be current, it should be noted they may change for operational purposes.

These include all the smaller airfields that rarely get mentioned,  they include Ballooning, Gliding, Hang Gliding, Microlights, parachuting clubs.

Air Radiouk share details of these freqs with Proma The Professional Radio Operators Monitoring Association. Run by Paul Wey.

The information on these pages is freely available on the internet, air.radiouk.com accepts no responsibility for anyone caught with a scanner with frequencies programmed into it..
